This Week's Message
This past Sunday, Elder LaToya Williams delivered a timely and powerful word from 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 and Ephesians 6:10-18, reminding us that God has already equipped us for every battle we will face. The message centered on one clear truth: stay ready so you donโt have to get ready.
Elder Williams challenged us to recognize that while we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. God has already placed within us what is needed to stand firm, fight well, and overcome. Many believers are carrying spiritual strength they have yet to fully recognize. Her charge was clear: wake up and see who your Creator made you to be. You are a warrior.
She taught that the belt of truth begins with realizing who God is. When we truly know Him, we begin to understand who we are. Too often, we believe more in what the enemy can do than in what God can do, and that misplaced belief becomes a stronghold in itself. We were reminded that renewing our minds through Godโs Word is necessary if we are to walk in the authority already given to us.
Using the imagery of an army, she reminded us that no one fights alone. You never see one person in an army. There are many, and each person has a role to play. The Church is strongest when unified, standing together, praying against strongholds, and advancing as one body.
As the message closed, we were reminded that all glory belongs to Him. We must walk with a reverent fear of God, allow Him to transform our thinking, and stay grounded in His Word so we can fully understand just how powerful we are through Him.
The takeaway was undeniable:
Change your mindset. Get in His Word. Stand united. Walk boldly. You are already equipped for this.
