
Hi, WOGFC Family! As we continue through the month of July, we’re reminded that God is not only preparing us for what’s ahead, but He is also inviting us to draw closer to Him through prayer. Every season brings new opportunities to trust His timing, seek His presence, and watch Him move in ways only He can. When we place our confidence in God instead of our circumstances, we discover that no obstacle is too great and no situation is beyond His power. As a church family, let’s remain steadfast in prayer, faithful in His Word, and united in faith. Prayer changes hearts, opens doors, strengthens weary spirits, and positions us to witness God’s hand at work. Continue believing, continue trusting, and continue praying. God is still moving, and He is working all things together for His glory and our good.
This Week's Message Things Move When the Church Prays *Scripture Reference:* Acts 12:5–17 (NKJV) Pastor Mitch Summerfield delivered a timely and powerful message reminding us of the incredible power of corporate prayer. Through the account of Peter’s miraculous release from prison, we were challenged to remember that when the Church prays, heaven responds and impossible situations begin to move. While Peter was imprisoned and surrounded by guards, the church never stopped praying. Their persistent prayers became the catalyst for God’s miraculous intervention. What appeared impossible to man was already possible with God. Pastor shared 5 key points: Prayer Works Where Power Cannot God Can Move While You Sleep Every Miracle Requires Movement God Opens Doors No Man Can Shut Don’t Miss Your Own Miracle The message reminded us that prayer is not our last resort. It is our first response. When the Church prays with faith, chains are broken, doors are opened, lives are changed, and God receives the glory. KCWC Vacation Bible School Sunday, July 26 \| 10am Our final Vacation Bible School experience, Illumination Station, concludes this Sunday during Children’s Church! Based on John 8:12, this exciting summer series has helped our children discover what it means to let the light of Jesus shine in their lives. All children will meet in the Fellowship Hall before walking together to the Academy. We look forward to wrapping up an incredible month of learning, worship, and fun!
